Lugana DOC is a white wine produced near the southern shore of Lake Garda, between the provinces of Brescia and Verona; a territory historically vocated for wine-making. The soils here are moraine and were formed in very distant times with the glaciations and that have left a fertile and rich in minerals land, which produces grapes with a strong identity. The grapes use to produce this wine is the Trebbiano di Lugana, locally knows as Turbiana. After the manual harvest, only the best grapes are selected for fermentation. Ageing takes place in steel tanks and after bottling it rests for a few months before bottling.
The Lugana DOC Monteci has everything a white wine needs to seduce: a pale straw yellow colour with green reflections which, in the aged version change in golden notes; it has great freshness, structure and a variety of aromas, which can range from white flowers, citrus and aromatic herbs to complex sensations such as flint, hazelnuts and almonds.
