Cavalo
| At the end of the 1990s the Monteci family discovered a particular “terroir” in Cavalo, a small hamlet near Fumane made particularly evocative and fascinating by the winding hills of the Classic Valpolicella and the typical country areas of the Lessinia. Precisely in this area the Montecis decided to invest most of their resources and land-working skills. The company actually has its own representative Vineyard in Località Costa delle Corone, some 600 m above sea level where you can feast your eyes on an extent of land of rare beauty. From this splendid, sun-drenched spot giving onto the magnificent Valpolicellese valley, Monteci grows the grapes for Amarone Costa delle Corone : pride of its production. Here, thanks to the particular composition of the soil and the large temperature differences between day and night, the vines have the ideal environment and climate for producing top-quality grapes and very refined tastes. |
